11. The FlagsOnly Player Index
The FlagsOnly Player Index (available at flagsonly.com/player-index and individual profiles at flagsonly.com/player) is a public database of college and professional flag football athletes.
What it contains. Each profile may include the player's name, level (college or pro), position(s), school or team affiliation, conference, region, state or country, hometown, eligibility year or years pro, age, height, biographical narrative, multi-sport background, links to public web profiles (e.g., school athletic department roster, Wikipedia, Instagram, LinkedIn, Hudl, USA Football media guide), and embedded highlight video links.
How profiles are built. Profiles are compiled from publicly available sources, including official roster pages, federation announcements, news coverage, public social media accounts, and Wikipedia, as well as player submissions and requests. We do not require player consent to create an initial profile from publicly available information, but every profile includes mechanisms for the player to verify, correct, or remove their entry.
Photos. Most profiles use a generated initials placeholder. A small number include photos sourced from Wikimedia Commons under their respective Creative Commons licenses with attribution shown beneath the photo. Photos submitted by athletes through the "Add your photo" link come with a written authorization to display them publicly.
Player rights regarding their profile. Any player (or, for athletes under 18 who may be inadvertently included, their parent or legal guardian) may:
Verify their profile — confirm identity and accuracy, which adds a "Verified" badge. Email hello@flagsonly.com with subject "Verify my profile: [Player Name]" and proof of identity (e.g., team gear, team-issued ID, locker-room selfie, or short video).
Request a change — to correct any information. Email hello@flagsonly.com with subject "Profile change request: [Player Name]" describing the change. We strive to process change requests within 7 business days.
Request removal — to have their profile taken down entirely. Email hello@flagsonly.com with subject "Remove my profile: [Player Name]." We strive to process removal requests within 7 business days. We do not require justification.
International players. Players outside the United States retain the same rights above. For players in the European Union, United Kingdom, or other jurisdictions with similar regulations, requests for access, correction, or deletion will be honored consistent with applicable local privacy laws.
Children's data. The Player Index covers college and professional athletes only. We do not knowingly include athletes under 18. If you believe an athlete under 18 has been inadvertently included, please contact hello@flagsonly.com immediately and we will remove the profile as soon as practicable.
